The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) is a full scholarship for master’s studies in Sweden, awarded to young professionals with work experience and leadership potential. Azerbaijan is on the list of eligible countries.
What does it cover?
- Tuition fees (paid directly to the university)
- Monthly living allowance (SEK 12,000 per month)
- One-off travel grant (SEK 10,000 for Azerbaijan)
Who can apply?
- Citizens of Azerbaijan
- Holders of a bachelor’s degree
- Those with proven work experience
- Those with leadership experience at work or in civic activities
- Candidates who have applied to an eligible programme through universityadmissions.se
Required documents
- Application on universityadmissions.se (October–January)
- Scholarship application form and essays on the SI portal
- Certificates and proof of work and leadership experience
- CV (in SI format)
- Passport
Application period
First you apply to universities from mid-October to mid-January. The SI scholarship portal then opens for about 2 weeks in February. University results are announced at the end of March and scholarship results at the end of April. Insurance and costs for family members are not covered by the scholarship.
