How does a General English course work?
We choose the course length, level and type of accommodation (homestay, residence, etc.) to suit your needs. The price depends on the country, city, duration and accommodation — we prepare an individual quote for you.

We choose the country, school, programme, duration and budget together.

A registration form and a copy of your passport are all that is needed.

Booking confirmation
The school sends a document confirming your place.

Payment
The amount required for your country is paid (see the table below).

Visa
You apply for a visa with the school’s visa letter.

Departure
The remaining balance is paid and the student starts classes.

How much is paid before the visa?

For the UK and Canada, paying tuition before the visa is viewed positively by embassies and improves the chances of a visa. All payments must be completed no later than 4 weeks before the start of classes; for last-minute registrations, within 1 week of confirmation.
What happens if the visa is refused?
If the embassy’s official refusal letter is provided, the amount paid is refunded. Only the registration fee and bank transfer charges (no more than 3% of the total) are non-refundable. Visa refusals for children attending summer camps are very rare.

Questions and answers
Can I work during a language course?
In most cases, no. Visas issued for language courses usually do not give the right to work. This depends on the country and visa type — we clarify it during the consultation.
Can I pay in instalments?
Payment is made in stages depending on the country (see the table above), but the full amount must be paid 4 weeks before classes begin.
What documents do I need to register?
At the initial stage, only the registration form and a copy of your passport. The documents needed for the visa vary by country, and we prepare them together with you.
Is it safe to send my child to a summer camp alone?
Alpadia camps are organised for children in a supervised environment with professional staff. Before registration we give you all the details about the airport pick-up, accommodation and daily programme.
